Terms & Conditions

The terms under which GM Microcemento provides its services.

Purpose

These terms and conditions govern the provision of microcement application and continuous-coating services by Esteban Godoy Méndez (GM Microcemento), as well as the relationship between GM Microcemento and its clients.

Services

  • Microcement application: on floors, walls, ceilings and any compatible surface.
  • Continuous coatings: decorative finishes for interiors and exteriors.
  • Technical advice: consultancy on materials, finishes and solutions.
  • Maintenance: maintenance and repair services for the surfaces applied.

Quotes and contracting

  • Quotes: free and with no obligation, valid for 30 days from issue.
  • Contracting: formalised by written acceptance of the quote.
  • Changes: any change to the project must be agreed in writing between the parties.

Prices and payment

  • Prices: include VAT unless otherwise stated in the quote.
  • Payment method: 30% on acceptance of the quote, 50% at the start of the work and 20% on completion.
  • Late payment: may lead to the suspension of the work until it is settled.

Carrying out the work

  • Timescale: set out in each quote depending on the project.
  • Access: the client must guarantee access to the work area during the work.
  • Environmental conditions: the client must provide suitable temperature and humidity conditions for correct application.
  • Interruptions: stoppages for reasons beyond GM Microcemento' control may involve additional costs.

Guarantees

  • Application guarantee: 2 years on everything, for both interior and exterior applications.
  • Exclusions: damage from improper use, impacts, aggressive chemicals or lack of maintenance is excluded.
  • Claims: must be reported in writing within a maximum of 7 days from detecting the defect.

Limitation of liability

GM Microcemento' liability is limited to the value of the work actually carried out. GM Microcemento shall not be liable for indirect damages or loss of profit.

Force majeure

GM Microcemento shall not be liable for breaches arising from force majeure, such as extraordinary weather events, strikes or restrictions imposed by the authorities.

Data protection

The processing of the client's personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Jurisdiction

For the resolution of any dispute relating to these terms and the services provided, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Málaga, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
