The multi-coat system forms a seamless barrier against rain and damp, yet still lets the wall breathe: it's permeable to water vapour. It blocks liquid water from getting in from outside whilst letting interior moisture evaporate, preventing condensation, blistering and problems in the wall.
The final sealing coat carries UV protection, so the colour doesn't fade or yellow under the intense coastal sun. The finish withstands the heat, rain and saline air of the Costa del Sol without peeling or cracking, keeping the facade even for years.
If the existing finish — render, exposed brick or paint — is sound, we apply microcement straight on top with a primer and reinforcing mesh, in a coat just a few millimetres thick that doesn't touch the structure. No chipping, no rubble and no stripping the previous finish.
