How we process your personal data under the GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD.

Data controller

Esteban Godoy Méndez (GM Microcemento) is the controller of the user's personal data. Data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

What do we use your data for?

We process the data you provide through the contact form, by phone or by WhatsApp (name, phone, email, square metres, surface type and any details you add) confidentially and for the following purposes:

  • Managing enquiries: handling and answering your requests for information.
  • Preparing quotes: drawing up tailored quotes for microcement application.
  • Delivering the service: carrying out the contracted work and managing the client relationship.
  • Marketing communications: sending you information about our services, only if you give your consent.
  • Improving the website: analysing site usage anonymously to improve it.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data for the time strictly necessary for each purpose and for as long as legal obligations require:

  • Enquiries and quotes: 3 years from the last communication.
  • Active clients: for the duration of the commercial relationship.
  • Tax and accounting obligations: 6 years, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Marketing communications: until you withdraw your consent.

Who do we share your data with?

We do not envisage transferring your data to third parties, unless it is necessary for the purposes described. In that case, we use providers acting as data processors under a confidentiality agreement: email and hosting providers, and web analytics tools (with anonymised data).

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to tell humans apart from spam bots. To do so, Google may process technical data (such as your IP address and how you interact with the site). This service is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We may also disclose your data to public authorities where there is a legal obligation to do so.

What are your rights?

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time, as well as withdraw the consent you have given.

To exercise them, write to us at gmmicrocementoyservicios@gmail.com or by post to Esteban Godoy Méndez, C/ Los Marine 24, 29710 Periana, Málaga, stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security measures

We apply the principles of article 5 of the GDPR (lawful, fair, transparent and purpose-limited processing) and the technical and organisational measures needed to guarantee the security of your data: encryption of communications, access control, backups, security updates and staff training.
