When we quote a price per square metre, that price covers everything: no surprises halfway through the job and no hidden line items. We work to a fixed quote so you know exactly what you're paying.
The microcement price includes top-quality materials, substrate preparation and priming, professional application by our own team, the protective sealer and a two-year written guarantee. It also covers protecting the area during the work and the final clean-up. What we quote is what you pay.
And there's one thing you don't pay for with microcement: demolition. Because it's applied over what you already have — floor, tiling or wall — without ripping it out, you save the cost of breaking up surfaces, removing rubble and rebuilding. So, like for like, it usually works out more cost-effective than a traditional renovation.

What affects your quote
The price per m² is the starting point. The final quote is fine-tuned with these factors, which we assess during a free visit before giving you a fixed figure.
The surface being renovated
Each surface has its own rate: floors and walls are the most affordable; bathrooms, kitchens, stairs and outdoor work cost more because of their technical complexity.
The total square metres
The more continuous surface there is, the better the price per m². On projects over 100 m² we apply volume discounts.
The condition of the substrate
A sound substrate is quick to prepare; a damaged or damp one needs more preparatory work to repair and level it first.
The finish and number of coats
A smooth or rustic finish stays at a similar price; the metallic finish costs a little more because of its materials and more technical application.
The technical complexity
Waterproofing a bathroom, finishing the treads of a staircase or lining a swimming pool basin all call for more specialised work.
Access
Facades and hard-to-reach areas may need access equipment (scaffolding or lifts), which is quoted separately.
Microcement vs a traditional renovation
Why microcement works out cheaper
Microcement is applied over the floor, tiling or wall you already have, with no demolition. That removes the most expensive and disruptive parts of a traditional renovation: breaking up surfaces, removing rubble, rebuilding and re-tiling. Less mess and fewer days with your home out of action.
Just 2–3 mm of seamless thickness completely renews the space and, like for like, the total cost usually comes in lower than a traditional renovation.

Do you give volume discounts?
Yes. On projects over 100 m² we apply special discounts. The more continuous surface we apply, the better the price per square metre. Tell us about your project and we'll tailor it for you.
When and how do I pay?
We ask for 40% at the start to cover materials and the remaining 60% on completion, once you've checked that everything is to your full satisfaction. No paying the full amount up front.
